The Cherokee 160 (PA-28-160) a member of the Piper PA-28 family, started production in 1961.  Karl Bergey, Fred Weick and John Thorp designed the Cherokee as a less expensive alternative to the popular Comanche.  The Cherokee, a single engine four place affordable low wing aircraft was designed with lower manufacturing and parts costs with intensions to directly compete with the Cessna 172, one of the most popular post war aircraft models of all times.  Both the Comanche and Cherokee models continued in parallel productions for another 10 years.

Each print comes sealed in a re-sealable clear, see through plastic protective sleeve and shipped in a rigid mailing tube.  This is the perfect gift and enhancement for the wall of a pilot and Piper enthusiast.
