This is a supercool, super rare portable magneto magnetizer. It runs off of a 12 v battery. It can do a variety of rotors. A 4 pole out of a Bendix dual mag will fit in the hole. I have never used it since 110v units are on the bench ready to go. It is a heavy motor scooter, about 35lbs. Bid early and bid often.
If you are in the magneto business it is a must have. This is missing one of the 1/4 round pieces that fit inside. Looks like a crank bearing would work. It converts it from a 4 pole to a 2 pole.

This can accept up to a 2.5" rotor in a 4 pole configuration, 2-1/4 in 2 pole. It was bench tested this morning and it works really great. Normal amperage pull. Looks like the insert needed is 2-1/4 pipe 1/8 wall. The power wires could be insulated but as it is they are not grounding out.
