1956 Cessna 310 Fuselage with doors. N3666D, S/N 35366, 3,892.2 TTAF. Aircraft lived in South Dakota from new til the early 2000's then in Michigan. It was disassembled in 2004 for restoration but was never finished.
For the aviator's interest - The fuselage shows no sighs of corrosion. Every wire has been replaced with new MIL-W-2257 series wire. There is some filler "Bondo" in the nose area as pictured. The nose gear well was stripped and painted and is beautiful. One piece windshield installed. All glass is in good condition. The aircraft has been de-registured but we have all the log books.
For the playhouse and mancaver's interest - As far as a general aviation aircraft this one has more room inside of the airplane than most. This is the fuselage of a very classic and roomy 1956 Cessna 310. As it currently sits it is 24' 6" long, 5' tall at the tallest point, 4' 4" wide not including the rear wing attach points which protrude out of the fuselage an additional 8" per side. The estimated weight of the fuselage is 800 pounds. All doors and windows seal well making it rainproof. There is an opening in the tail that leads into the inside that would need to be covered if it will live outdoors. We have the vertical stabilizer and seats for sale separately. We can load this onto your trailer with our forklift.
