About 20 years ago we owned a 1969 Cessna 172. We planned to replace the mag / starter switch for reasons I do not recall. Bought this factory new Bendix switch and never used it. It's been in storage for all these years so it is new old stock (NOS). It is in perfect condition with 8 keys, 2 are original and 6 duplicates are included. Works smoothly and clicks in the detent positions perfectly as a new switch should do. I intentionally have priced this new switch at the used switch price so I can move it. From my limited research I suspect this switch fits almost any aircraft using a switch that rotates. It has 5 positions Off - Left - Right - Both - Start. I will guarantee it works but will not offer a return just because it is not wanted. It does have the FAA-PMA stamp with a number 8253.
