I am offering a Shock Cord Cover End Plate. This is a copy of one used on the Piper J3 Cub, PA11, L4. This sale is for one and only one end plate. 4 are normally used in the covers for a complete landing gear unit. The skirt is 14 inches long and can be easily manufactured. I call it a "Bungee Cover" End Plate. These are not to be confused with the much larger Hydrosorb Cover End Plate I offer. These are much smaller. They measure 7 and 1/2 inches by 2 and 3/4 inches. This is styled after the J3 Cub, PA11, L4 and early PA18. For those aircraft that used a Cub like, shock strut landing gear, it covers the bungee cords in with a metal housing, much like the Piper Super Cub. This end plate is stamped in aluminum and with properly located strut ports. This is truly a well made part. Perfect for your homebuilt Cub or Cubby. This is an replica part, it is not certified.
