Airworthy Lycoming O-290-D2 135 HP engine rated at 2,600 rpm continuous operation from a 1953 Piper Tripacer PA-22-135 (N8548C) was flown right up until it was removed for installation of a Lycoming O-320-A1 engine using the Wag Aero STC. Engine has full logs (See photo of removal entry) and about 1,770 hours SMOH. Compressions are good and it comes with the applicable Electronics International R-1 Tachometer, Carburetor, Bendix Magnetos, and ignition harnesses. It does not have the plugs, prop, starter and generator as they all went on to the O-320-A1 on the aircraft. You can pick it up locally or arrange for freight to come pick it up. Should pack up at around 300 lbs. Dry weight is 233 lbs. We will crate for $200 and deliver it to DHL at CVG for free if you desire. Shipping arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. The engine is available for inspection at I66 by appointment. Call (937)212-8435 to arrange to see it or to ask questions. Best time to see it is 4 to 6 PM. The logs are complete and there is no history of damage. The engine is priced to sell, serious buyers only. For overseas buyers - you cannot return this engine if you buy it due to costs involved. All duties, VAT, and other taxes are solely your responsibility and you must arrange shipping. For U.S. and Canadian buyers, engine may be returned for a full refund within 14 days if not satisfied. The engine doesn't move until the money is received and deposited in our bank.
