The 12 Cell CRAZEDpilot battery is available in BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT NEGATIVE configurations, allowing for easy installation.  Compared to an Odyssey Aircraft battery that typically weights in at 13lbs, this 12 Cell weighs 2.4lbs. That's a 10.6 lbs savings!   This can greatly assist weight and balance as well as performance!  Safely charge with your alternator system – remember, this is  NOT  Lithium Ion technology, this is Lithium IRON technology, a hugely stable and proven product already in use and tested by other happy customers in the aviation world.

Cold start conditions: The only difference you’ll notice is in temperatures below 35 deg, the battery chemicals must heat to generate power – so when you first engage the ignition, the propeller only turns a small bit.  Wait a few moment, try again and it will rotate once clear thru, and by the third try the engine strarts normal.  This is all expected and standard thanks to this new technology in battery chemical composition.  It ‘seems’ strange as compared to lead acid we are all used to, but there is no problem or concerns, your battery will generate full power once it has warmed completely by putting load onto the battery.
