This is a used World War II era Magneto switch. A.C. Type B-5 Switches were used in numerous WWII era Twin Engine Fighters, Bombers and Transport Aircraft such as B-24, B-25, B-26, DC-3, C-45, P-38 and others. The center “Flip” up or down switch is for “ON/OFF”. That activates the two side “Lever Style” switches each of which have 4 positions; BOTH / LEFT / RIGHT /ON”. 

I have have not tried to find out the exact plane or exact pilot

that used this. Might be a real sleeper jem !
