Here's a real antique: A 1930's Lycoming O-145-B2 65 HP engine used on Piper Cubs and Aeronca trainer aircraft. I wonder if it trained any WWll fighter pilots?
I wonder how it would look painted up and on the wall of a pilots lounge or engine shop with a prop?
I was told it has a real Piper Cub engine mount and comes with a Marvel Carburetor that appears in very good condition.
The engine is not complete, missing the mags (Bendix Type SF4L-8) and some pipes, etc but has an extra case/sump? that appears to be in very good condition.
For those who don't know, engine is shown upside down.
