This is an original B-24 Flight Deck Bombay Access Door. Separated the flight deck area from the Bomb bay. Wooden plywood construction with metal latch, hinges and insulation around the edge. See photo from my original WWII B-24 erection manual (also up for auction) showing the location of this door. Still has some original stenciling on door. Door has been displayed in original condition, has not been restored. One of a kind display item. Weighs 5#, and measures 18” wide and just under 36” tall-
Not made for ‘big guys’ to fit through🤨
Good condition - believed to have been removed from a partly scrapped USAAF B-24.
