This is a beautiful, unrestored, vintage, original, Sensenich Bros. airplane propeller. It is 98-1/4" long!
Decals on the blade reads:
"Sensenich Bros., SB, Lititz, PA"
Stamped into the hub is: " Model 42K19593, Ser No. AF45A8441 (the last number "1" is very hard to read and we assume is a 1), SENSENICH".
The hub is 6" thick, and 9" tall. There are 8 mounting holes, with center to center measurement of 7". The center hole of the hub is 3-7/8" across.
There has been a minor repair to the metal edge. It is on the backside of the propeller (see photo) and would not be seen when it's mounted.
I've owned this for 29 years, but I really don't know much about it other than what I have listed. It's a classic wooden propeller with great patina. Questions are welcome.
