I bought this unknown airplane propeller 29 years ago. This propeller was never mounted to an airplane (notice the hub has not been drilled for mounting bolts), probably because it was out of "balance". I understand this was a common problem, because of the inconsistencies in wood. It is a great looking propeller, 96" long and 10" wide on the blades at the widest points. The hub is 7-1/2" tall, 4-1/4" thick, with a 2-5/8" hole in the center. Because of its size and patina, this would make a great display piece.
