Piper Aircraft 51944-006 Tube Assembly

This item was purchased from an aviation surplus sale. I do not know the history of it. It is in good cosmetic condition. It is tagged, "AR, PA-31T-185". It measures about 17 5/8" long x 3/8" OD. I am able to swivel and spin the bearing by hand. I am not able to test it further. It only comes with what is shown in the pictures.
