This is probably the nicest control lock for a King Air 90 series I have ever seen.  

The gust lock is a safety measure to stop aircraft control surfaces from moving when the aircraft is on the ground parked. The gust lock is fitted thru the flight controls inside the cockpit. It is pinned to the control column behind the yoke and the rudder linkage in the floor. To ensure the gust lock is removed prior to flight, there is a rubber-coated yoke that slides around the engine and prop control levers for added safety. We strongly suggest that a control lock that is broken in anyway, be immediately replaced to ensure that a pin is not inadvertently left installed during operation.
