Overview
Nosewheel shimmy can be caused by excessive clearance in the torque link bearing points. The OEM needle zerks
are difficult to grease effectively and when grease doesn’t get to where it’s needed, the bushings wear. It’s also messy
and high-pressure water cleaning can cause even more problems by inducing corrosion on the pins.
The Marsh Brothers kit addresses the link joint lost motion risk and cleans up the mess of leaked grease.
Once the MBA bushings have been installed, the needle zerks can be removed and replaced by MBA supplied plastic
buttons, blocking each hole from anyone trying to grease a hole that leads nowhere.
