This 1957Cessna 172 Control Lock with a vertical locking pin. Shop made by an A&P with 3/16 stainless steel rod and 32K aircraft aluminum paddle to cover the ignition switch, and markings to remind you to remove it before flight.
This lock is designed to fit a 1957-172 with an ignition switch 9"to the right of the yoke and 6" down with a vertical locking pin.
