1. Drained engine oil, cleaned oil screen, reinstalled oil screen with new annular copper gasket and serviced engine with 12qts Philipps xc 20w50.

2. Oil sump gasket is seeping oil, removed oil sump, cleaned mating surfaces and reinstalled with new gasket and lock washers. Tested for oil leak, no leak noted at this time. Referenced documents: Continental Publication X30039. AC43.13.

I certify that this engine is approved for return to service.

1. Removed cowling, cleaned engine and cowling.

2. Performed cylinder compression; 1: 60/80 2: 60/80 3: 62/80 4: 70/80 5: 60/80 6: 70/80

3. Inspect engine control cables, no defects found.

4. Secured loose egt/cht probes.

5. Adjusted loose alternator belt tension.

6. Installed missing airbox fasteners.

7. Inspected intake tube for holes, no defects found.

8. Inspected oil cooler, found bent fins. Serviceable.

Engine inspection. Cleaned and gapped spark plugs, timing checked, oil drained, screen checked and no metal noted. Also noted on this engine is some sort of sealant present in the oil. Replaced screen, cleaned area for crush gasket and removed lock tite previously used as sealant in place of a crush gasket. Replaced oil 10 qts, Compressions on engine 1-44,2- 70,3- 20,4- 70,5-60,6- 75 all over 80, MO 42/80.

Details of work performed are on file with D2R Aviation under work order: FAY-1010.

With respect to the work performed, I certify that this engine has been inspected I/A/Wa 100 hour inspection and determined this right engine is unairworthy.
